Mold Inspection and Sampling with a Home Inspection
This option for a Mold Inspection and Sampling is conducted with a full home inspection and is the most cost effective. These can can be done as a precaution or when there is already a known or suspected mold issue. This Mold Inspection and Testing includes the following:

Three total samples - one outdoor air sample as a control test, one indoor air sample, one additional swab or air sample at the inspector's or clients discretion of apparent mold affected area.

Indoor and outdoor temperature/ humidity readings at the time of inspection.

A detail written report that includes the test conditions, test sample locations, areas of moisture intrusion, sample results from a certified lab, and recommendations for further action (if necessary) by an certified mold specialist/contractor.

Additional samples (excluding the three include samples), air or swab, can be done for an additional $50 per sample.

Swab samples are recommended in addition to the standard air samples when a known or suspected mold issue is found.

Mold Inspection and Testing without Full Home Inspection
Mold Inspections and Testing without a full home inspection are conducted as a stand-alone ancillary service and can generally take 1 1 1/2 to 3 hours depending on the size of property to perform. While Mold Inspections and Testing with a home inspection utilize information found during the home inspection to help determine the cause of the mold issue, a Mold Inspection and Testing without a home inspection requires more evaluation while WHI is on-site. This inspection includes the following:
